    As founder and president of C&G Arms, LLC., Christopher J. Burns is an active instructor at several regional Police academies. He is certified as a PA State Police Handgun & Shotgun Instructor, NRA Law Enforcement Patrol Rifle (Carbine) Instructor, ALLERT Active Shooter Instructor, Surefire Institute Advanced Low Light Instructor, TMACS Pistol, Rifle and vehicle dynamics Instructor, Force-on-Force Instructor, PA Tactical Officers Association SWAT Operator and a Master Rifle Instructor for the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors. Chris has personally selected each and every member of the C&G Firearms Instructors cadre and designed the C&G firearms training curriculums. He currently is an active Law Enforcement Officer.

     


      Kevin Boyd
      Kevin Boyd

      Kevin Boyd or “Gunny” to those who know him was a 12-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. While in the USMC, Kevin had extensive firearms training, was a Small Arms Expert, a Primary Weapons Instructor and an Urban Warfare Instructor.  During his 4 overseas deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan he received multiple decorations for valor in combat. After separating from the USMC, Kevin has spent the last 9 years in Law Enforcement. He is the Firearms instructor for Ohio Twp. Police Dept. and SWAT operator with North Hills SRT (Special Response Team) Team. Through his Marine Corps and Law Enforcement experience, Kevin maintains the follow certifications: * Primary weapons instructor * Urban Warfare instructor * Urban Breacher * Tactical weapons instructor. * Firearms training specialist * Advanced lethal weapons training * Firearms and weapons expert * Advanced SWAT operator * Shoot house Instructor Gunny has been lending his experience and talent to the C&G team for the last 5 years.



        John Lubawski Jr

        An 11-year veteran of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, former PBP’s Rangemaster.  Responsible for Bureau members’ education and training, Officer Lubawski prioritizes overall safety and effectiveness while simultaneously generating public confidence in the police.  In addition to his responsibilities within the Bureau, Officer Lubawski served as the liaison between the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium’s Dangerous Animal Response team, and has worked closely with team members to develop a comprehensive training curriculum.  Officer Lubawski is one of two instructors who developed active threat response training to personnel of the Pittsburgh City/County Building, Pittsburgh Job Corps, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, and other agencies and organizations.


          Joe Delsole
          Joe DelSole

          Joe DelSole entered law enforcement in 1987.  He has a diverse knowledge of the Law Enforcement profession, combined with real world experience as a Police Officer and Firearms Instructor that has groomed his tactical and shooting instructional style.  Over the years he has competed in the USPSA, CMP, and IDPA.  He is a passionate instructor that continues to educate himself within his career field in order to provide his attendee’s with the most current methods and techniques for real world application. Joe currently holds certifications as a factory armorer from Glock, Beretta, Sig Sauer, CZ, pistol model 1911, Colt AR/15 and M16.  He is a certified NRA Law Enforcement pistol, shotgun, patrol rifle, and tactical instructor.

            David Eckels

            Dave Eckels is a Sergeant with the Ross Township Police Department. He has over 20 years of law enforcement experience.  As the Team Leader and founding member of the North Hills, PA Special Response Team (SRT), Dave divides his time between police patrol and SWAT duties.  Dave is also the senior firearms instructor and armorer for Ross Township along with secondary duties as an adjunct firearms instructor at the Allegheny County Police Training Academy.  He served as a U.S. Marine, has overseas deployment experience is a veteran of 1991 Gulf War in Iraq. Dave’s credentials include training in Hostage Rescue and as an FBI trained sniper.   He’s also certified as an Advanced SWAT Operator, NRA Handgun, Shotgun and Patrol Rifle instructor and Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P, and AR-15 armorer.

              Shawn is a nine year Military veteran with the Marine Corps and Army National Guard. During that time Shawn was assigned to serve on his battalion’s Amphibious Raid Branch and Reconnaissance Team. After separating from the Military, Shawn began his career in Law Enforcement. Due to his passion for precision small arms and tactics, being a Firearms and Active Shooter instructor was a natural transition. Shawn is an Element Leader and Sniper on his regional SWAT team. Along with being a NRA Law Enforcement Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle and Tactical Shooting instructor; Shawn is also a master instructor for the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors and a Tactical Precision Long Range Rifle Instructor for the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA)

                  John “JD” Morris

                  John “JD” Morris is a professional firearms and tactical operations instructor with more than 25 years of experience. JD is a retired MSG from the US Army where he served as an Airborne Combat Engineer in the Persian Gulf War then went on to serve as a Green Beret until 2008. JD’s experience as an instructor covers the full spectrum of modern small arms. Since retirement, JD worked until early 2011 with the novice shooter, armed citizen, and local, state, and federal Law Enforcement Agencies ensuring they received the best firearms training available. After that, he spent five years recovering from injuries accumulated in combat operations in Iraq. He now dedicates his life to transferring his skill-sets to motivated people and helping Veterans recover from their combat injuries. He also brings his years of Special Forces combat experience to the classes allowing the student to see real world lessons learned. He also assists his wife with her small business, OSS2 Shooting and Survival, LLC; which helps disabled Veterans find their path in life after the mission is complete.
